call me mud. i'm ~30 years old. i'm a lesbian. i like to get mad at pvp and afk in the quicksand. i like to make new cultures instead of using the ones in-game because i'm too smart for my own good. my current project is focused on othard but i plan on doing more as i make more characters. i've been writing a long while, but roleplaying seriously an embarrassingly short time in comparison. if you like any of my characters and want to rp with them please let me know, i love hearing it. i am looking for more long-term writing partners for all of my characters. i like au ra.please check out the fanged crescent headcanon we've come up with! many of my characters are related to it. it's a group effort at the end of the day, but i'm usually the one adding to it and making it coherent. i'm always raring for more people to join, too.writing style
i prefer para writing. i try to write as much as i can per post when the situation calls for it. sometimes i may need to write a bit less or take longer for posts due to bad wrists.guidelines

* i don't write just to erp. some characters are open to it, some aren't. please respect this.
* i don't want to interact with any s9 or overly modern characters, wol characters, msq npcs, overbearing echo bearers, or ascians/ancients. it's just my personal preference!
* please avoid calling my characters lizards, i find it a bit dehumanizing.

zinat is an enigmatic woman. she never tells the same story twice to people. some details stay the same: she's 52 years old, claims to be from thavnair, is quite wealthy, has a husband none have seen, and a girlfriend named nikhila. other than that, she changes her story multiple times. sometimes, she's a wealthy trader, importing silk from doma. other times, she won the lottery.in reality, zinat is and old, wise witch, who fled her homeland to fight the garleans, who enjoyed some success but found herself under too much heat, who fled, fled to somewhere safe, to thavnair, where she'd be able to continue her studies in peace. whether or not she's always lucid, and just wields her "old lady card" like a diplomatic passport, or she's always a bit unhinged and can be brought to moments of clarity remains to be seen.was it mentioned she's only 52, by the way? that's not even that old.her abilities are rumored to veer into the darkest side of magic. she's willing to do the most wicked acts, provided you provide the auracite and enough coin. her precious nikhila is proof of it.

for centuries, the sarmari tribes, a group of miqo'te of seeker heritage but more keeper-aligned cultural practices, inhabited the hinterlands between the shroud and thanalan. into the prestigious kirumyuber tribe was born umisan, the only child of her mother tasarbu, 22 years ago. seeking brighter pastures for her daughter, umisan's mother sent her away with a visiting researcher to sharlayan.umi was rowdy as a child, and did not take to studying well. she was bounced around programs and threatened with a trip back home. she was mostly alone, save for her single friend: tabitha montfort, a sharlayan-born miqo'te, equally lonely, who helped her acclimate to the new environment.umi didn't excel at her studies by any metric, but she wasn't failing either, which allowed her to avoid signing up for gleaning or being sent back home. the calamity brought her to the sharlayan climatological service, expanding rapidly and no longer underfunded. she was dispatched to coerthas, where she, once again, did the bare minimum amount of work not to be fired. it was too cold for her, and she yearned for home. fortunately for her, complaining always works. she was reassigned, now the only researcher investigating the tornado outbreaks on the plains of her home.
